Honda has announced an innovative partnership as the first-ever exclusive automotive partner of Twitch Rivals, the popular tournament series. This collaboration aims to strengthen Honda’s connection with gamers, particularly Twitch’s young adult audience.
The year-round partnership features the “Chat’s Civic Mods” interactive segment, launching July 18 on Twitch. In this series, the Twitch Rivals community can digitally customize the new 2025 Civic hybrid sedan through chat polls. The final crowdsourced design will be unveiled at TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego and given away to one lucky community member.

Honda’s youth initiatives in gaming and esports have contributed to the Civic’s success. Since entering the video gaming space over a decade ago, Honda has partnered with notable gaming franchises like Forza and Guitar Hero Live. In 2019, Honda expanded its gaming footprint by partnering with Team Liquid and establishing a presence on Twitch.
